The fantasy shapes and colors fill the stage, in a design that takes the audience to a world of imagination as they join the journey through a child’s dream where she makes a life-changing visit to the circus. The set made its premiere during a nationwide tour of Mexico. Scott Holdridge, the set designer, worked with the art department of the San Diego Opera to create this dramatic set that changes completely when lighting effects are added.
